I decided to book the 7 day course course…
Did an intensive course in Paisley with instructor Paul Hunter. I’m now a month into driving and my life has honestly changed for the better. Paul is a fantastic instructor, he’s friendly, chatty, honest and cares.

Great experience!
I had a great experience with Pass in Days, and that was 100% down to the amazing instructor I had, Sharon. Not only is she an incredible instructor, she’s patient, personable and gives incredible guidance. I felt safe and ready when sitting my test and even though I thought I couldn’t do it, Sharon got me through. Thank you for not only making my lessons valuable but enjoyable! Could not have done it without her and now I’m able to drive myself to placement, finish off my uni course, and be able to apply to any job area I need. Amazing, thank you! 😊

-

Home pick-up is usually available within Aberdeen City, Portlethen and Stonehaven, depending on your allocated instructor.
We also work with one instructor based in Montrose, and other in Peterhead and Fraserburgh, who can accommodate courses in those areas — subject to their availability – please enquire for details.
If you live outside our main pick-up zones, you may need to meet your instructor within the area covered. Instructors can often arrange a convenient meeting point near a bus stop or train station.
-
Is the theory test included?
Yes, the theory test is included in the price of each course.
We also provide study materials to help you prepare (online course).
Once you book your course, you will receive an email with full instructions, including how to access the study materials and a form to request your theory test.
-
Is the driving test included?
No, the driving test is not included in the price of the course.
The driving test fee is £62, which is paid separately to the DVSA. You are responsible for booking your driving test.
Driving test waiting times are currently very long, but if you regularly check the DVSA website for cancellations and put in consistent effort, you can often find one.
The DVSA usually adds new driving test dates on Monday mornings at 6 am. Since new dates are added on Mondays, this is also a good day to find cancellations, as people often swap their slots for later dates if they are not ready.
The speed at which you find a test will depend on your effort and DVSA availability.
-

Many participants of the have successfully passed their driving test, and we take great pride in their achievements. You can find their results on our “results” section.
-
Which course should I choose?
We organise three intensive driving courses with durations of 5, 7, and 10 days.
Here is an overview of each course to assist you in making a decision:
5-day course. This course totaling 20 hours, is designed for intermediate clients who meet one of the following:
- have taken at least 20 hours of driving lessons with a qualified instructor recently (e.g., within the last 6 months) and feel about halfway to being test-ready;
- have engaged in extensive private practice in a safe and legal way (e.g., lessons with family) amounting to a minimum of 20 hours recently (e.g., within the last 6 months) and feel about halfway there;
- have experience driving various vehicles (e.g. farm vehicles) on private land from a young age, are comfortable with car control, and just need experience on main roads;
- had many driving lessons and have failed a driving test within the past 3 years;
Participants in this course should be confident in fundamental car skills, including clutch control, gears, hill starts, negotiating easy junctions, maneuvering through easy roundabouts, and performing at least one of the maneuvers.
7-day course. With a total duration of 30 hours, this course is suitable for clients who meet one of the following:
- have completed at least 10 hours of driving lessons with an approved instructor recently (e.g., within the last 6 months);
- have undertaken at least 10 hours of private practice recently (e.g., within the last 6 months) and mastered the basics;
- have taken a driving test within the past 4-10 years, but failed;
Participants in this course should have a grasp of basic skills, including basic clutch control, moving off and stopping, dealing with easy junctions, progressive braking, gears, and easy hill starts.
10-day course. This course is intended for individuals with little to no driving experience and includes a total of 40 hours.
The 10-day course is most suitable for clients who meet one of the following:
- have no prior driving experience but are confident in their ability to learn quickly (note that 4 hours per day can be very exhausting, even with a break halfway through);
- have taken driving lessons, but still feel the need to start “from scratch”;
IMPORTANT:
Please note, learning to drive is a very individual process and you might need additional lessons after your course, if you are not safe & test ready.
Intensive driving courses are a great way to learn quickly, but they may not suit everyone. If you prefer a slower pace or find long sessions (around 4 hours a day) tiring, you might benefit more from regular lessons.
These courses require focus and energy, as the fast progress and upcoming test can feel demanding. However, with motivation and good concentration, many learners find them an excellent way to achieve success in a short time.
